Emerson’s Brewery & Taproom has won a Gold Pin in the Built Environment category of The Best Design Awards. Congratulations to the Emerson’s Brewing Company and project team.

Located on the site of an old railway yard in Anzac Ave, Dunedin, the flagship Emerson’s Brewery was a collaboration between Ignite and Beca.

Judge’s comments:

A well-executed contextual design with the form being entirely contextual to its location. The simple reinterpretation of traditional forms is well detailed and executed with restraint.
