Ignite Architects appoints new Tauranga Associate

Ignite Architects is pleased to announce the appointment of Isaac Bright as Associate. Based in Ignite’s Tauranga office, Isaac will bring a depth of experience across a range of industry sectors including education, retail, commercial, hospitality, aged care and industrial design.

Prior to joining Ignite, Isaac worked on notable regional, national and international projects. This included being project architect for the design of Silverdale Shopping Centre, the technology block at Tauranga Boys’ College, the fit-out of key tenancies for AMP Capital, as well as geothermal power plants in Indonesia.

“We are pleased to add an exciting local talent to our Tauranga office. Isaac brings a great technical knowledge and a unique design flare, which will further strengthen the skillset of our Bay of Plenty team,” said Adam Taylor, Director at Ignite.

A Registered Project Architect, Isaac received a NZIA regional award and a Resene colour award for his design of the Mount Maunganui College Resource and Research Centre.

Other key clients he has worked with include Farmers Trading Company (Tauranga and Silverdale retail developments), Bay of Plenty Polytechnic, Fonterra, Goodman Fielder, Inghams, Pertimina, and Colliers International.

As a Papamoa local, Isaac is excited by the opportunity to impact and improve the built environment of the place he calls home, while also contributing to an architectural team in growth mode.
