"Glulam, with almost double the strength-to-weight ratio of steel, is not only sustainable but also allows a unique design opportunity. Its visible timber structure through a curved glass façade defines the urban corner."

The construction will incorporate glulam timber beams, columns, and cross-laminated timber panels for the floor structure, all requiring only a fraction of the energy needed for comparable steel or concrete materials.

Innovative features include passive ventilation design, rainwater re-use systems, low-cost mechanical installations, and an attractive open atrium with a feature staircase and a full-height green wall. The development is targeting 5 Green Star and NABERS rating certification upon completion.
