I get tremendous satisfaction from helping people grow and develop.

I started working at Ignite back in 2003 in the marketing department. I immediately fell in love with architecture and the property industry in general.

I was determined to see the industry from as many angles as possible, so I went and progressed my career at some of New Zealand’s major engineering, construction and infrastructure companies. I returned to Ignite in 2015.

As Operations Manager, I am responsible for the Shared Services team which is made up of exceptional people who deliver marketing, finance, IT, HR and quality support to the practice.

I also act as the bridge between the strategic and executive arm of the practice and the operational and delivery side of the business.

I believe in putting faith in people to get the job done, giving them the tools to do it and then allowing them to take charge.

There are few boundaries at Ignite and, as long as you are delivering great outcomes for your clients, or improving the efficiency and quality of the work environment, then the message is clear – just go for it.

Outside of work, you’ll usually find me spending time with my family, coaching my kids’ sports teams and driving my Weber BBQ.
