About

I believe that design functionality is critical. With my background in draughting, I have a robust understanding of the technicality and buildability of design. I get a huge sense of satisfaction when I sit down and figure something technical out. There are so many complex details—both small and large—in a design, and getting them right is vital to the overall success of a building. Weird and wacky designs are the most exciting to me – does the technology exist to support the vision? Is it buildable? To push the boundaries of design means we push the boundaries of technology and drive innovation.

I do a lot of DIY around the house – I enjoy using my hands to create something. Not only does it give me the satisfaction of having built it myself, but it gives me an appreciation for the effort that goes into building something – especially large structures.
