Operating from 1 Searle Street, Ignite's Queenstown studio is perfectly placed to partner with developers, investors, and property owners throughout the region.

Ignite opens Queenstown architectural studio

With its stunning scenery, world-class tourism industry, and enviable lifestyle, the Southern Lakes region is experiencing an architectural renaissance. Major residential, commercial, and hospitality projects have broken ground recently, with many more to follow. Now Ignite has set up shop, with the goal of helping project owners achieve the best possible results for their budgets.

Headed by Southland-born Jeremy Dunlop, the Queenstown team also draws on the skills of Ignite’s strong Christchurch office. Clients enjoy the best of both worlds – local service and insight, plus the resources to deliver large-scale developments from concept to completion.

Jeremy Dunlop is excited by the possibilities: “I grew up in the south and have a strong connection to the landscapes and lifestyle we enjoy here. Working with clients who want to build something special – and seeing how much people enjoy living and working in the spaces we create – is a very rewarding way to spend your career.”

Recent projects include the new hotel development at 17-19 Man Street, Queenstown Central commercial and retail centre, The Remarkables Residences, and the Queenstown Views apartment complex. All benefit from the systematic but collaborative working method that defines Ignite’s approach. It’s aimed at delivering buildings that are appealing to look at, profitable to construct, sustainable to operate, and satisfying for end users to live and work in.
