I believe that as Architects we are the Kaitiaki of our built environment, the people that will touch and be touched by the communities they serve. I like to approach design through an experiential lens of service - looking at how a space serves the users of today and tomorrow and endures. These principles take a people-first approach, which when partnered with a robust funding model has the potential to create a premium experience with visual delight.
I consider design to be the melding of critical problem solving, story-telling, and design-led research. I am committed to building collaborative partnerships with clients and creating quality design solutions.
I love to immerse myself in design-rich spaces and experiences. Travel is a great passion of mine, and has taught me a lot about enduring architecture. Seeing how people perceive and use built space is a testament to the vision of those stakeholders involved in their creation.
