As we navigate our way through an increasingly digital world, we must remember that people still need places to gather, to socialise, and to feel safe. As architects, I believe we have a responsibility to craft spaces and details at a human scale, in order to create environments where people want to live, work, and engage with others in real-time.
I have worked in the industry for more than 30 years. I add value to clients through my empathic approach and broad experience across a variety of project typologies and sectors. In my current role, I lead our design teams in ‘crafting’ their responses across all Ignite studios.
I’m interested in the practice of exploration and discovery. From my research into early Irish voyagers, travelling beyond their ‘known world’, through to my personal approach in placemaking, it’s the ‘leap of faith’ and the journey towards knowing that I find really enticing.
