EntX – Christchurch– Gold Award
This 10,800sqm cinema and entertainment complex not only received a Gold Award, but it picked up a National Category Award, too. The judges were impressed by the design, workmanship, and pre-planning of this large-scale project. Containing 19 eateries and a three-level, seven-screen cinema complex, EntX is a world-class entertainment and dining experience in central Christchurch.
Woolston Community Library – Christchurch – Silver Award
Christchurch City Council’s brief to Ignite was to design a community facility made up of a volunteer library, a community hall, a small meeting room, and some public toilets. The team ensured that the new facility reflects Woolston’s industrial past and provides a welcoming, usable space for its users. It replaces the former Woolston Community Library, built in 1871, which was demolished due to earthquake damage.
Lakewood Cambridge – Cambridge – Bronze Award
This mixed-use development includes waterfront dining, public areas nestled in the woods, boutique apartments, retail offerings, and entertainment experiences. B and F Blocks are the first two buildings of the development. B Block contains 16 apartments and six retail units. F Block contains seven tenancies, including a Snap Fitness gym and office spaces. The development captures the natural beauty of the area while also reflecting Cambridge’s heritage.
